Serverless Computing: For the Workloads That Suit It

No servers to patch, and scaling that follows demand, for spiky, event-driven work. Steady heavy load is often cheaper on containers. Knowing which you have comes first.

what you get

What Each Phase Produces

  1. 01

    Workload Fit Assessment

Each candidate workload scored for traffic shape, duration, latency and run cost. Produces a fit list: serverless, containers, or leave as is.

  2. 02

    Architecture & Build

Functions, events and APIs built as code, with cold-start and limit budgets per path. Produces a working service in a test account.

  3. 03

    Testing & Cost Modelling

Load, failure and security tests, plus a run-cost model at expected and peak volume. Produces a go-live report.

  4. 04

    Run & Hand Over

Dashboards, alarms, tracing and runbooks for your team. Produces an on-call-ready service and its documentation.

the trade-off

Serverless Is a Trade, Not a Default

Functions scale to zero and back without anyone touching a server. In exchange you accept cold starts, execution-time and memory limits, provider-specific event services, and harder debugging across a distributed system.

For bursty, event-driven work - webhooks, file processing, scheduled jobs, APIs with uneven traffic - the trade usually pays. For long-running, latency-critical or steady high-volume workloads it often doesn't. The assessment decides which side each workload falls on.

In scope

What We Build Without Servers

Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) Development

Event-driven functions on Lambda, Azure Functions or Cloud Run, sized within platform limits.

API-Driven Serverless Solutions

Serverless APIs behind a gateway, with auth, throttling and idempotency designed in.

Automated Scaling & Monitoring

Concurrency limits, alarms and tracing, so a spike or a failure is visible.

Infrastructure as Code

Every function, queue and permission defined in code, reviewable and reproducible.

Security & Compliance Optimisation

Least-privilege roles per function, managed secrets and dependency scanning.

Portability by Design

Business logic kept apart from provider event plumbing, so a later move costs less.
