Cloud Strategy Consulting: Decide What Moves, and What Stays

A cloud strategy is a set of decisions, not a slide of logos: which workloads move, to which provider, in what order, at what run cost, and which stay put.

what you get

What Each Phase Hands Over

  1. 01

    Current-State Assessment

Inventory of workloads, dependencies, costs and skills. Produces a scored workload register.

  2. 02

    Options & Business Case

Provider, model and sequencing options, each with its TCO. Produces a business case your finance team can audit.

  3. 03

    Target Architecture & Roadmap

Landing zone, governance and migration waves. Produces a phased roadmap with a named owner for each decision.

  4. 04

    Decision Support

Workshops that take the roadmap through approval and into execution, with us or with another partner.

the trade-off

The Right Answer Is Sometimes Not Yet

Strategy work too often ends in a roadmap that assumes everything moves. Licensing terms, data gravity, egress fees and skills gaps can make staying, moving less or moving later the better call.

We score every workload on business value, technical fit and run cost, and write down the assumptions behind the numbers. Where we would also bid for the migration itself, we say so, so you can weigh the advice accordingly.

Infrastructure, applications, dependencies and skills mapped as they are today.

Run-cost models with their assumptions written down, egress and dual running included.

Provider & Deployment Model

AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, hybrid or multi-cloud, with the cost of complexity counted.

Landing zone, identity, tagging and policy decided before any workload lands.

Operating Model & Skills Plan

Who runs what afterwards, and the skills your team will need to fund.

Weighing a Move to the Cloud?
